Works good on the boat June 21, 2010 Eric Hubbard (Southern, MN) Bought this to use on my boat seats & interior which are vinyl. I really like how it glossed them back up. Had the boat out & several people commented on how nice the seats looked. A little seemed to go along way, I think this should last me a few years.
Still better than other brands May 23, 2010 Ronald Marchesano (North Carolina) I've been using vinlyex for a number of years and consider it a very good product. It is not too shiny and leaves vinyl looking good and (apparently) protected.
For what it's worth - I was told that some of the products that leave a high shine, oily residue can actually aid the sun's damage. It's been suggested that it has the same effect as basting a roast... i.e. - it just cooks faster.
awesome protectant April 13, 2010 J. Ruvio (Kailua, HI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'd consider myself a novice in the personal car care crowd. When I was ready to sell my 13 year old Honda CRV and I poured through amazon and other website for the best stuff to detail my car, to get the best resale price, and I came across this product. I took the online advice of others and I can't say I'm more pleased. Using this product on my honda made it look only a few years old and brought the plastic and vinyl pieces back to life. On the interior, the dash was super slick but no oily. I even used it on the exterior of the car. The black plastic bumpers had faded to a light gray, but when I applied the vinylex, they went back to black. Anyways, I did get top dollar for my honda using vinylex and other car car products. I hope this review can help others.
Disappointed in the product February 17, 2010 Josie R. (Raleigh, NC) 0 out of 13 found this review helpful
I bought this series of products based on the recommendation of a local person I hired to patch my friend's leather car seat. He told me that my chair in the house was not leather and reccommended this product to clean it. I'm glad I tried it in a small obscure spot as recommended, as it took the color out of the spot I tested. My chair is indeed leather I think and this is not the right product. I have tried it on other vinyl products with the same result. Perhaps you will have better luck than I did. I won't be purchasing any more of these products by this brand name. Live and Learn.

Lexol works as advertised and appears to be a quality product based on my experience and its reputation.
